Remote Legal Intake Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Full-Time | $18-$20 per hour + Bonuses | Remote

The Higgins Firm is seeking a Remote Legal Intake Specialist to give a great first impression to our potential clients. This is an ideal role for someone who is great on the phone, empathetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, ensuring they feel heard and confident in their decision to work with us.

What You’ll Do:

  • Client Engagement: Speak with prospective clients, empathize with their situations, and ensure they feel heard and valued.
  • Screening & Case Qualification: Determine if a potential client’s case meets our firm’s criteria while maintaining a compassionate and professional tone.
  • New Client Onboarding: Manage the intake process, collect essential documents, and enter data into our case management system.
  • Timely Follow-Up: Ensure quick responses to inquiries and diligent follow-up to keep clients informed and engaged.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Book and confirm consultations using scheduling tools to keep our lawyers’ calendars organized.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work with our team to improve intake processes and grow our client base.

What We’re Looking For

  • Action-Oriented: We operate in a competitive market, so it’s essential to respond quickly to new client inquiries and follow up in a timely manner. Even if we don’t take a case, we want every caller to know they were heard and treated with respect.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must be professional, empathetic, and persuasive over the phone and in writing.
  • Customer Service or Sales Experience: Previous intake, customer service, or sales experience is essential.  Any recognition given for great job performance would be awesome.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using Legal Intake Software, phone-based communication apps, and Microsoft Office 365 for data entry and client management.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry and organization are essential.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a Plus: Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients is highly valued.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Must have a reliable computer, internet connection and a quiet workspace for calls.
