The Higgins Firm, PLLC, is a full-service law firm in Tennessee, with several offices located throughout the state. We handle civil litigation, nursing home neglect, employment law, and probate cases.

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION(S): TEMPORARY RECEPTIONIST/NEW CLIENT INTAKEJOB DESCRIPTIONS: Personal Injury Lawyers

Exceptional litigation trial lawyers. Our lawyers must possess the ability to analyze, develop a successful strategy for our clients, and negotiate injury cases all the way through trial.

Attorneys should be assertive, organized, and self-motivated. They should also have excellent communication and solid negotiating skills.

Paralegals

The ideal paralegal candidates will have experience and knowledge of the legal field. Paralegals are responsible for assisting in all areas of litigation preparation, including managing cases, meetings, scheduling and preparing depositions, and other events.

Qualified candidates are detail driven, have the ability to balance demands and prioritize, and excel at multi-tasking and working well under pressure.

Legal Secretary/Receptionist

Our legal secretaries and receptionists are the vanguard for our firm. Candidates should possess excellent time management skills and have the ability to multi-task. Legal secretaries are responsible for greeting and screening clients, receiving and relaying telephone messages, providing administrative support, and preparing legal documents and correspondence.

Part-Time Filing Clerk

As a filing clerk at The Higgins Firm, qualified candidates will create and update physical and electronic files. Interested individuals should also have a basic understanding of legal record keeping procedures, as well as both physical and electronic filing. The candidate should also be detail oriented, strive for accuracy, and have the ability to follow directions.

Interns

Interns will work closely with our all of our attorneys and will be responsible for both legal and administrative tasks. Interns assist in case preparation by helping with client intake, locating and interviewing witnesses, maintaining case files, preparing discovery, and research. Interns at the Higgins Firm also assist in preparing documents, case folders, and trial binders, as well as taking phone calls.
